About Us
The Seward Area Chamber of Commerce has been in existence since 1899. (Interesting fact - Early Chambers of Commerce were formed in the 1400's in Europe. Merchants formed a group to promote and support commerce).
The Chamber is a not-for-profit group of businesses and professionals working together to promote and support new and existing business, to assist in economic development, and to cultivate communication and cooperation within the community and surrounding areas.
The Chamber is the point of contact for inquiries concerning general information, individual and business relocations, visitor information, and business information for the greater Seward area. The Chamber is an active advocate for businesses and the area at the local, state and Federal levels. The Chamber brings various groups and individuals together to explore and, ultimately, support key projects and activities for the betterment of the community and county.
We are located in the Seward Civic Center and have maps, relocation and other information available for new residents and visitors. We also have a brochure rack of information from other Nebraska communities for those who may be passing through, visiting Seward County, and planning other stops along the way.
