The Seward Area Chamber of Commerce is made up of business people just like you. The Chamber belongs to the members. It is your organization and your involvement in it, as well as that of your fellow businessmen, is the strength of the organization.
The Chamber is served by a staffed office of two paid employees, a Chamber Executive Director responsible to manage the property, business and affairs of the Chamber; and an Administrative Assistant working under the direction of the Director, to assist in executing day to day activities of the Chamber.
The Chamber staff works under the guidance of a 15 member Board of Directors who meet monthly to direct, counsel and advise Chamber activity. Any member in good standing may be nominated to the Board of Directors of the Seward Area Chamber of Commerce. It is composed of faithful members who willingly give of their time, energy and effort in your behalf. Serving on committees will provide you with the background needed to serve as a director and officer.
The most important link in the Chamber is you, the member. The heart of a good organization is a strong task force and committee structure. The Seward Area Chamber of Commerce provides committee opportunity and activities allowing members to become an intricate part of the organization.
